Visitor's Center

The Moosehead Lake Region Visitor's Center is open Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Please stop by for information about our beautiful area. We have numerous publications available including the Moosehead Vacation Guide, Snowmobile Map, and ATV trail maps. We have guides for Moose Watching, Bird Watching, Hiking, Scenic Drives, Fishing, Rainy Day Activities, Real Estate & Construction, Relocation Packages, B-52 Crash and so much more. We have a large display of brochures from area businesses. Float Plane Rides, Moose Safaris, Horseback Riding, Snowmobile Rentals, Cruises on the Katahdin, White Water Rafting, Guided Fishing trips and every other activity you can imagine. Sample menus from area restaurants are here to peruse as are brochures covering the full range of accommodations. Our courteous staff can assist you in planning your stay. We have examples of all the current maps covering the area for visitors to use and we are always happy to help with directions.
